Gair Dunlop

art new media photography
born 1960 in Glasgow, Scotland.

My work covers a wide range of subject matter. The output of my various projects varies in both form and content but at the core of most of my practice is inquiry into the relation of identity, place, and the body.
I have made internet works, large-scale photographic pieces, and short films.
I have worked and exhibited in the UK, Europe, North America and Australia, and have a wide range of teaching experience.
I am currently preparing a project on the New Town experiment, using dialogue with the public and collaboration with other artists. Also on the way are projects on Industrial control rooms and the discoverers of the DNA structure.
